Smoked Caciocavallo is a yellow / gold aged cheese. Smoked Caciocavallo, which is a spun cured cheese typical of southern Italy, is smoked with natural straw to give it a sweet and unique flavor that persists over time. This cheese is ideal both for a tasty appetizer and for an original second course, served on a bed of vegetables. Of course it can also be enjoyed between meals, as a genuine snack on any occasion and served as an aperitif with for example tasty canapés or melted on slices of bread, with black truffle and a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil.
