Cacio Nocello della Valmetauro is a very fragrant, crumbly cheese with an incomparable flavour. Ideal as a flavoring for many dishes or to be enjoyed at the table with mountain bread. Excellent if combined with jams and acacia honey. Much appreciated by gourmets is the combination of this cheese with Colonnata lard.
It goes well with wines with a soft taste, fairly fresh and consistent, or with red wines with a good structure, fairly fresh in acidity, warm in alcohol, rightly tannic and soft.
